In a galaxy far, far away...
So now I'm thinking "Oh, Crap. I'm probably gonna end up blowing $1200 on another gun." And I just bought a new car too.

It really is one of those guns you have to shoot to truly appreciate. But if you've never shot one and someone offers you a chance to try it, my suggestion is don't do it. That is unless you already have $1200 in your wallet ready to spend.

Any one remember the scene in Robocop where they pull the canons out of the truck and one guy blows up a car with one shot? He cries out "I like it!!!" or something like that. That's basically what went through my mind after the first shot.

You will need to wear the offical PCT sneakers and eat the pudding to become fully initiated ;)

I have had a P7 ever since they came out . I didn't buy it as a cult piece. I bought it because it has many excellent design features which make it extremely reliable , far more than other guns. It is also very well made , a thorough inspection after 10,000 rounds showed no signs of wear. This is my carry gun , I take that seriously , I trust it with my life.

So, have you started your 10 day wait yet? I remember when I bought mine, it took me a couple of days to justify the price, but I've been glad I bought it since the 1st shot :D

Another one bites the dust...

The only down side of the Cult growing is that P7's are getting harder to find and more xpensive by the day. :cuss:

 Welcome to the Cult  ...in advance... ;)

I bought my first P7 without ever having shot one...I know I can't ever go back now...

Arrrgghh... The first car payment is due in a couple weeks so no new guns for a while. Hopefully by late Spring I'll have saved up enough to start thinking about buying guns again.

Originally I had the Springfield Mil-Spec 1911 at the top of my "next gun list." That was followed by a Glock 19, a Beretta 92FS, an HK USPc 9mm in Stainless, and then the P7M8 since it was the most expensive. Well, the P7 moves to the top of the list now, but since I can almost buy 3 of the Springfields for the price of a P7 I'm gonna have to tighten up the belt a bit. I might stop by Costco on my lunch break and pick up a case of Top Ramen...
