Fiocchi .32 ACP 73gr FMJ for a Remington Model 51?

I've found some of the above-mentioned Fiocchi .32 ACP 73gr FMJ ammo available on the Georgia Arms website. They also have Fiocchi .32 ACP 60gr JHP.

I'm hoping to fire one of these in my Remington Model 51 .32 ACP. I've put 50 rounds through it that were given to me, and had no issues whatsoever, but silly me - I did not think to check the load on the package before I emptied it out.

Any thoughts on which to get (or any other suggestions) would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm very new to hand gun ownership and use, and I'm very excited to learn! While I don't see myself getting rid of the Model 51, I'm still torn on whether or not it's a viable every day carry simply based on the caliber, and while I could go with a Buffalo Bore option that seems to pack a bit more heat I'm a little concerned due to the age of the gun.

Also, any thoughts on whether or not I could safely but any NAA ammo through her? I'm thinking not, but I did find some available at a reasonable price. I'm still trying to make some sense of what fits what and all of the abbreviations mean - the last thing I want to do is injure myself or anyone nearby due to poor decision making and lack of research. Kind of defeats the idea of responsible gun ownership, and I don't want to set that kind of example for my kids or anyone else.

The gun was last made in 1927, 86 years ago.

And if you break it, there are no replacement parts to be had.

Stick with standard pressure & bullet weight FMJ-RN ammo, as that is what it was designed for.

It may or may not feed lighter JHP, and the shorter OAL of them could cause rim-lock in the magazine.


No, you cannot use .32 NAA ammo in it.
The .32 NAA is a completely different bottle-neck round, based on the larger .380 ACP case necked down to .32 caliber.
