I ordered my first upper Monday night and received it this afternoon. It shipped from psa Tuesday noon. They shipped it faster than I had expected it is kit #516444983 and cost 329.99. The kit came with a complete ept lower build kit. I have only one issue it was missing a roll pin for the trigger guard. No big deal I can get a pin.

I built the lower this evening in about an hour. IMG_20190510_200836.jpg IMG_20190510_221815.jpg

No I'm going to get some pmags later. I know NY restrictions, restrictions, restrictions. I also know illegal unconstitutional laws when I see them.

I've bought more than a few and never been short anything, hope they took care of you.
I haven't contacted them yet it I'm sure they will make it right but I can't wait for a pin to arrive. I'll just pick one up after work.

Congrats on joining the cult. I mean family. Our leader will be by soon to welcome you and post a pick of where you’re headed. Queue Gunnys entrance!

Seriously ARs are addictive. And as you’ll see. Soon you’ll be building more. Kudos to you for fighting NY’s illegal laws. May you soon have them over turned so you can enjoy them as our founders intended (that’s freely and without fear).

Please get it out and let us know how it shoot. FYI I need to do that on my last build and need post my current one soon. But right now let’s hear more about this and what you like, dislike and updates as you make them.

Nice!

If I may make a recommendation that may help curb your new addiction, I mean, help you get more bang for your buck. (Pun intended)
If you see something really cool, like a forend or a grip, on someone else’s gun and you look at your and think “Yeah, I need that on my gun” ask the person to hold and handle their gun. Looking “Cool” doesn’t necessarily mean “better”. The money you save could buy you another gun...:D and save storage space for all those parts that just didn’t workout.

Let us know how it shoots.:)

Congrat on your first build. The path ahead of you is a dark one if you choose to take it, but hey, we have cookies.

You choice of kits was a good one. I have the same kit sitting in my shop for a project that I plan to start on next week.

Call PSA and let them know that the trigger guard roll pin was missing, even if you pick one up locally. They will send you the pin and you will have an excuse to build another rifle.

Hope you enjoy it. I fail to understand the haters. I call these guns the modern equivalent to the old school semi auto .22 LR I had as a kid. Light weight, leggo like, you can have a plinker or a highly accurate DMR type of gun. Tons of accessories, what's not to like? No recoil to speak of, cheap to shoot and even cheaper to reload for. Some of the cheapest brass, cheapest rifle bullets, (in a given catagory) use hardly any powder,

Enjoy it, there is something about shooting a gun you build, now you will start looking for sales on lowers so you can build more

Already have thoughts of more but money is tight my wife finally conceeded to this one.

My grandson was over when I got home from work and I asked him if he wanted to see what I just got. He agreed and loved the adjustable buttstock. I collapsed it as far as it would go and had him hold it and said hey it's small enough for you to shoot.

Indeed NY gun laws prohibit what the founding fathers intended. The same firearms that our standing military uses.

Please get it out and let us know how it shoot. FYI I n

Will do have to pick a few mags first it would be a pain to single load.
