OMG, right. I took a couple of guys from work (in their early 20s), shooting awhile back. We wasted targets of Greedo, Saddam, Osama, and Ramsey Bolton from Game of Thrones. When we were getting in the car, I realized they had recognized Ramsey, but thought the others were two random Arab gentlemen and " some alien dude"....

to the thread: shot a doe with my NIB 1988 M77 purchased last year. 6mm Rem with Sierra 100 gr. warm loads. Heart shot at 180 yds. Only thing I did was get the rings out of the 1987 blister pack and put a sling and scope on it. Good times!
I noticed my loads make this baby buck like a 25-06. 6mm has a bit more "upside" than 243 Win or creed.
