Not sure if this question belong to that tread.
I sold flare gun and 10 flares on one of gun selling website.
Buyer sent me different name and address to ship the items.
I understand thta it is not a FFL item but should I be concern?
It is Hazmat shipping.
Thank you

Isn't that a trick used with stolen credit cards?

THR retailers, can you address this problem?

Could be, however not always. Herself buys stuff when she is traveling, or working out of town and has it shipped to me to hold until she gets back. Those addresses will not match. I also have had other family ship to my address when I am home to avoid packages sitting on front porches in less desirable neighborhoods. Not uncommon, but I agree it might be a scam, so waiting for the transaction to clear before shipping is almost always a good idea. If worried, call the credit card company.

.

A lot of people buy things and have them shipped to other than their home address. Most packages are delivered during hours that people are at work so instead of a package sitting on a porch to be stolen, they have it shipped to their employment address or to a friend or relative who will be available to receive it. Or it may be a gift for the addressee.

I got the money before shipping, that no question about.
Address is in the same town that buyers living, and he is verified member on that site.
My concern was about he bought this gun for minor. And I ask about some ID for recipient of the gun, came out clean.
Thank you for the input. Moderator can close this treat, gun shipped.
