Buy something that; does the job, makes your happy, fits good in your hand, and is quality...
Guy doesnt understand depreciation..study a bit about investments/business/inflation before buying guns. It pays huge dividends, as will buying a quality handgun that has aftermarket support and reliability that has stood the test of time...

Taurus guns have always been hit or miss...its not up for debate.
"Taurus" and "reliable" are usually seperated by "can be but might not be"
You could get a good one, or get a lemon...why waste money and gamble when you could have the sure thing "for a few dollars more"...buy one and gamble.
Dont complain if your "maybe a good enough" gun falls apart...you take risks and know your consequences.
Time is money, the time it takes to make a Taurus run like a Beretta if there are problems is a cost. Also Taurus isn't honoring warranties anymore...
Plus if you are trying to decide between the Beretta and the Taurus...the Beretta is bring phased out of service.
Mags, parts, and most importantly it will be plentiful.
Your Taurus will share nothing but magazines.
