Full Size Carry ?

I can't stand short grips, including the 1911 and the Beretta 92, Glock 19... If the grip doesn't extend past the base of my palm, I hate it. I carry an L-frame with a big grip, but if I did carry an automatic, it would have a long enough grip that I could insert the magazine without my palm being in the way or having to change my grip. Without consideration to any other criteria, this would include: Shadow 2, P-09, P320 full-size, etc.

Carrying a full size gun is not difficult, provided one can dress as they choose.

Caveats:
work could be a limiting factor
unrequired shirt tucking might be a limiting factor, although there are tuckable holsters
activity like going to a gym or push mowing yard likely preclude carrying a full size gun
I always carried appendix with a tucked button up at the office

Never have owned a full size pistol. Carried snubnose's for years and when I switched over to semi's the biggest I have is a HK P30 which is a little bigger grip wise than I care to carry. I've finally found my " holy grail" pistols in the S&W CSX or the Sig P365XL. They seem the most comfortable in my hand.

I am honestly a big fan of full-size or near full-size slides and barrels with compact grips. I love G19-length grips with G17-length slides. I have a Beretta 92G compact that is nearly perfect.

Well, uh, thank you for sharing? (My wife makes fun of my chicken legs and won't let me post pics like that)

I don't know man, my legs look more chubby than chicken to me.

To be serious, most of the time even when I leave the house I'm wearing an Army PT Pants and a hoodie. That's not conducive to a full size gun.

I carry a Sig P229SAO most of the time. The trick with carrying full size grip frame guns is all in your holster selection. I use a Mitch Rosen President that pulls the bottom of the grip in toward the body.

My EDC is a S&W Shield with the (8) round magazine thus (8) plus (1) capacity. I have no fingers' dangling, all are making contact with the griping area..

I got a SAR U S A b6 4.5" barrel that's an absolute pleasure to shoot and reliable gun that I have been trying to talk myself into carrying. But, heck I don't even like carrying airweights.

I like the “Mullet” concept…. Full grip / compact slide
The Glock 45 , which I don’t own but I have had range time with , balanced great and I shot well
I do prefer my Dagger C with a 17rd mag and a Bloodywheels sleeve .. dang .. that set up is the bomb … corrects the cutouts and leaves the lip on the grip … amazing set up
