Yep, pretty much any aspect of this software can be altered, if you have someone willing to put in the time to create the hacks or install existing ones AND work out the unexpected bugs that always show up.
Personally I like the idea of starting over. Post count really isn't a big deal, just one of those little curiosities on the side that's fun to mess around with and give someone else a hard time about, either because they spend so much or so little time here. For anyone who really wants to get serious about it adding their TFL count(and someone has their TFL member number as well, I noticed) in the sig line should be gobs of plenty.
