Good Luck, you soon will be part of the most storied military branch in history. Shoot straight and keep your head down.

Look after your buddies and they'll look after you.
Solid advice.

You're about to become part of a team. You need the team, and the team needs you. Everything else ain't nuttin' but a thang...

You might be gone for 12 weeks at PI but you are not forgotten. Listen and learn from your DI's and do not sandbag, wear the uniform proudly because you represent the rest of us that are no longer on active duty.

Do well my future Marine brother and as always, Semper Fidelis.

Been there done that friend, best advice make the best of it. You will either love it or hate it.

Play by the rules and put out 100% you'll reach higher rank quick(depending on your M.O.S)

Show your ass and you'll regret ever enlisting.

Welcome to the Suck.

Good luck and God speed Accord. I wish you the very best, and want to express my admiration for serving your country. It has been over 15 years since I last donned the BDUs, and there are still times I miss it. I am sure you will enjoy your service, and you will make lifelong friends.

Many thanks for your dedication to DUTY, in order too help keep us safe.
May GOD safefully guide you thru this tour of honor, with much respect
my friend. I wasn't a U.S. Marine, but rather an Army medic during the
Viet-Nam era. Have since wished I had given my soul to GOD, and my
a$$ to the Corps. With dignity, and honor may you proudly serve; and
May GOD BLESS you and yours~!:)

Thank you for standing on the line. Looking forward to your words April 7. You will have the same screen name but you will be different. Good Luck.

Just watched a couple hours worth of "Making Marines" on the Military channel, It was Parris island. I plan on going into the Marines when I am of age. BTW, good luck and thank you for serving.:)

Kick a$$ for me. A buddy of mine (who is vistiting for the weekend) has Qualified for BUDS Training with the US Navy SEALS starting with basic on March 14th. More power to you guys!!!

"You'll be sorrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Actually, that's the traditional boot camp greeting to new boots. Good luck!

Welcome Aboard. I look forward to calling you BROTHER.
Good Luck! Just do what the nice DI tells you. We all did and came out fine.

Marine Corps boot camp is to teach you the following
1, to obey orders NOW!
2, the Honor and History of the Corps
3, USMC customs and courtesies
4, How to fight like a Marine and in coordinated effort along side other Marines and Armed Forces of the US and their allies.

It is also to get your lazy butt in shape:evil:

Good Luck and make us Proud
