Grammar for Gunnies

How about a ban on "doable" (i.e., "something that can be done"). It may be in the dictionary, but I read it as "doble" every time! It is really a compound word and should be spelled do-able. And while we're at it...let's discontinue "noone" (i.e., "no person", or nobody"). this is actually two words: "no one."

I can spell "no one" but I can't promise not to use "doable;" for me, it's got an association with the science geek subculture and I use it for slight emphasis. I agree that "feasible" is the preferred, traditional word that means the same thing.

Is "do-able" OK with you because it's easier on the eyes, or is the word annoying either way?
