I never hit the children

Once when our first was about 3-4 she witnessed a friend's father tell him, I'm counting to three, 1,2,3, whack.
We used to tell her that, never whacking her though.
Interestingly her 5 yr younger brother also responded, even though he had never witnessed the whacking.
They are very well behaved.

I get 'em in my showroom all the time. Mom will tell the kid not to touch anything, and then ignore them as they play with the merchandise, at least until I say "Maam, that trophy your kid is playing with costs $195.00". That usually puts a stop to it. ;)

The WORST ones though, are the mothers who try to let the kid make the selection. Mom looks at several selections between $5 and $10 for the team, and then asks her six year old soccer player, "Which one do you like, Billy?"

Billy invariably picks a two foot high, $30.00 trophy, and then throws a tantrum when mom says he can't have it.

The father who was almost twice my weight and had a good 8 to 10 inches on me then follows me into the bathroom after the movie and blocks the door so I couldn't get out and took a swing at me.
Sounds just like somebody looking for a busted knee.

Got no time for irresponsible parents and even less for bullies.

Follow to bathroom

Many moons ago, not long married (first Wife) 1959, on going to a local Pub, good music, St Helens Lancs UK, in comes large Para, in uniform, right sleeve rolled up, to allow room for bran new cast..not even one pen mark on it, the break must have been that day (Friday) I knew this particular Para, he was going out with my new Wife, before she became said Wife.

On spotting me his face went red, did not look pleased, said "Sit tight" to Irene, and headed for the mens room, I was behind the door off to one side when he barged in.

"You stole my woman" he said, "You can't steal people I said, they are not like bikes" "Plus I have to warn you I don't know how to fight, and if you decide to fight, my only thought, is kicking that cast into dust!"

We then had a very adult conversation, and I bought him a pint.

Glad that went well, he had two mates with him!!

I know one thing. My daughter will NOT be acting like that at a gun show or anywhere else! Right now she is too small to be any trouble. (6 months old) So she just causes a scene becouse she is so cute. :D
I really do get sick of these kids who are allowed to run wild. The parents are not doing them any favors by letting them get away with that type behavior. It is really sad.
