Guns You Should Have Bought When You Had The Chance, And Now Regret Not Buying

Springfield 03-A4

Several Colt M1911s

Browning A5 for an absolute steal, but didn't have the 200$ and 3 minutes later it was gone

But I definitely have no complaints and am very happy with all of the great deals (I feel) I've made over the years. Still no regrets! I don't really look back.

How it usually works is I get the proverbial "hardon" for something, then I find one in New or excellent shape for a fair price, usually going rate, and I'm typically very happy with that. Then, repeat. Rarely, if ever, do I find exactky what I'm looking for for that magical "steal price"
Just doesn't happen.

Guys who have tables at the main entrance of big gun shows or the guys checking in guns walking in the door, they usually have some unicorn stories....good for those guys. 👍 👍 👍

I regret not snapping up every used N frame S&W that I saw in the used guns case at Potomac Arms back in the 90s/early 00s. They were almost always priced around $400 back then.

Just ordered a Century/MKE AP5 today as I think they and other Turkish guns are todays bargains....
In the late nineties 350-400$ was still a huge chunk of change to me, more than a weeks take-home!!!

I’m sure we all have one or more that might fit the category above.

In my case it was the H&K P7, a pistol I admired but didn’t buy when I had the chance. The current prices are more than I’d care to spend on one at the moment.

What firearm do you regret not buying?
Colt Diamondback .38 Special 4".

I was at a gun show prolly 20 years ago and a guy was walking around with a pre ‘64 Winchester model 94. I asked the price to which replied $300. A guy behind me handed him 3 $100 bills took the rifle and walked off.

629-2 for $450 2012-ish.
Sig 210, $800 2019
Virtually unused Browning Citori 20ga $800 2000-ish
BRNO 465 22 Hornet. Dad inherited it from Gramp. Sold to to my uncle for $300 without even asking me. Might get that one back.
