We talk a lot about our CWW being exposed & printing, & I got to thinking ( probably my first mistake). I occasionally play "Spot the CCW " when I'm in public and I have never "made" anyone. I even had an old boss walk up to me at work W/ a Taurus Millineum Pro under his T-shirt. If he'd been looking to kill me I'd be dead, because I didn't know he had it till he pulled it out. ( yes I am aware that it was a stupid thing to do, but it was HIS stupidity not mine)

So who has noticed some one doing the Wal-Mart walk? if it's a bunch of you I'm really gonna get concerned about my situational awareness.

I saw one guy while eating breakfast at a local place called Zekes. It was definately a large Glock and was covered buy an almost see through plain white shirt.

Our county has more registered CCW holders than registered voters and I've never caught anyone printing, but I don't walk around staring at guys' hips. Most folks I talk to carry one of those pocket .22s or something like that. I got caught by a little girl once in line at a checkout but her mom mis-identified it as a phone. I carry a MP40C and have no problem hiding it under summer clothes. My wife and I do "print-checks" on each other in public and I assume most other people are acutely aware of their form when carrying.

To my knowledge I've been "made" once. It was kinda strange I was standing in the hall at church & two kids I've never seen before ran right up to me and slapped the butt of my gun & ran away.

Only that guy on the episode of 30 Days, but I was specifically looking for it and assumed he was carrying.

I'm surprised no one has caught me printing, or at least no one has said anything. I'm carrying a CZ 75b IWB and wear an untucked collared shirt over it. I feel like the grip is poking out all over the place and I'm sure if someone was looking for it they would notice.

The people I'm trying to conceal it from are the ones who would freak out if they saw it and call the police, and those people aren't likely to be looking for it, and even if they noticed a strange lump they would not think "gun". I figure anyone who is looking for it is someone like treo playing "Spot the CCW".

My CCW friends and I spend a lot of careful thought in making sure when we carry we are not easily made. The latest I have come up with is to care my Taurus 38" revolver with the belly band pulled up around my chest. the gun tucked under my arm. I can wear polo shirts and do not print at all.

Does seeing someone eating nachos at WM count?:D

Seriously though, knowing several that do carry, have never spotted their security equipment.

I caught a bunch when I worked security at a bar. About one every two weeks. But I was looking specificlly for weapons.

As I commented to my wife once, while in Garden Ridge:

"There's room for a Glock or a dude in that pullover, but apparently not both."

I've spotted a few people carrying, but I've never said anything to any of them.

After SC passed the law, but no licenses were issued, I saw a guy at my kids soccer game with a small frame semi auto clearly in his back pocket. Got photos of it too! 300mm lens comes in handy. He also had two VERY large St. Bernards on leashes between him and his wife. I wondered if the gun was for the dogs if they got out of control.

Was it this guy?

Atleast once a week, its more a function of how many people I encounter then anything else.

My EXP has been most people that CC, don't have a clue about what concealment actually means.

I am aware of it now, so i can pick out someone who is....before hand, i would never know.

Many people in my church have CCW's and i have seen a few of them print.

No but I was caught once in my bank. I walked in and stood in line to deposit some money. My shirt had worked it's way up showing a piece of my handgun. A bank officer very cool and very politely walked up beside me and told me "your butt is showing":eek::eek:

Seen a lot of guys print or inadvertently expose at auctions. I typically sit in the back row, and gun auctions tend to have a lot of gun enthusiasts. Folks hunching forward or raising their hand for bids is pretty much the perfect tagging environment.

There are a number of belt clips that don't have any visible cell phones, pagers, knives, or leatherman tools attached to them at the gun club meetings.

I haven't noticed it in public yet.

Today while I was ordering lunch at a local sandwich/31 flavors ice cream restarant there was this guy that had a dark colored Hawaiian shirt and pulled it up to grab his walet I saw in plain view an IWB 1911 locked and ready to go. Wow now that I am looking at people you can really notice! lol
