Help choose my next 9mm

Of those guns I like the USP best. That said, the rail sucks. I have three USPs, two full sized 9mm and one 45 Tactical. The proprietary rail they use predates the modern 1913 but once it was adopted HK should have switched all newer guns to a frame incorporating the new standard. There are various adapters out there and each has some quirk or another.

That said, the USP is a marvel. Aside from the rail I love everything about it. For CCW I carry an HK P30S more often than a USP just because it's a little smaller but the USP is a tank. As reliable as death and taxes! And a great shooter. All my HKs are way more accurate than I am.

All of the guns listed have some virtues, and most of them are good choices. If you can live with the goofy rail I think the USP is the best of them. But if you can swing the extra cash, check out the P30.

You buy what you like; I like this M11-A1 better than the rest; i'd get the E2 grip put on it & you're set!

The order I'd pick.

Sig 229
FN
Beretta
HK
Sig 2022
Ruger
Walther

I'm not a Walther fan.

Love sig guns. My FNP-45 is a great gun, and I think you'd like an FNP or FNX-9 I'd go with the FNX.

H&K's have a good rep, but I have yet to understand what about them warrants their price, since other comparable guns seem to be much cheaper. I don't know though, perhaps the HK is far more durable. I don't own one. I would like to though. The PX4's are nice, and very accurate guns.

I've owned each on the list and all are good. Of those on the list I probably prefer the H&K. I wish to suggest you try to shoot the "CZ75 P07 Duty" before you purchase. The P07 Duty is an EXCEPTIONAL plastic pistol in every way. The trigger is MUCH better than anything on the list (in both single action and double action). The P07 is a natural pointer for me and the ergos are better than any on the list. The P07 is amazingly accurate ie target pistol accurate. The only negative to the P07 is the availability of holsters, though this is improving. Just my opinion and your mileage may vary. I own and have owned many handguns. I was shocked at just how good a plastic pistol the P07 Duty is. And it's less expensive than most on the list. The P07 is a real sleeper in performance and price.
