Help with subjective felt recoil .38 vs 9

Regular .38s are still bad, +P worse. No contest to me, the 9mm Glock is a pussycat compared to the 642.
Everyone is different, and should try it for themselves.
I'd much rather shoot my LCP than the evil revolver.

A semi auto pistol absorbs a certain amount of recoil through the cycling of it's action.

The 9mm and the .38SPL are similar (not exact) in their power factor.

A 9mm will recoil less than a similar size and weight .38 Spl.
