HKs...okay thread

I had a USP Compact .45 right around when they first came out, great gun. Had to sell it in hard times, but it's definitely on the short list for future purchases. Versatile, reliable and accurate...I really don't need more that that.

I currently own a USP Tactical in .45 ACP and a USC 45 (carbine). I like both of these weapons, but doubt they were worth the cost. My Glocks do everything the Tact does and actually the recoil is worse than on my G21.

I couldn't believe my eyes in that last thread.

As the screen name implies, I own a USP in every caliber, 2 in 9mm, 3 in .45, and a Mark 23. I don't own a VP70 or a P7 (always thought that was a silly idea)
Dude say what? HK BLASPHEMER!!! :D

Bow at the mighty P7's altar!

Silly indeed....

(these are all pix of my personal P7)

For those that continue to bash HK's policies towards civilians, make sure to do the non-hypocritical thing and apply that logic to each and every purchase you make. I had to consider every Nissan employees view of the second Amendment before purchasing our vehicle, phew, that took some effort. Then I had to fill it with gas, what about Exxon, would they approve of me having an auto sear in my HK93? Are they, as a company even pro 2nd amdt? How about groceries, surely Publix like gun owners would they wish me well in attempt to modify my SL-8? How about my clothing, the folks that built my house, the manufacturer of the set of china my wife bought? Surely I should scutinize these companies as thoroughly as the wretched HK shouldn't I, I mean they are getting MY hard earned American dollars?!
Man, talk about missing the point.

Nissan doesn't have to answer for their opinions on guns since they don't sell guns. Likewise, I don't care what HK has to say about cars, since they don't sell cars.

I'm unlikely to support a company financially who looks down its long judgmental nose at me, or just doesn't see me as worth the time. I don't care how much you like your USP...I have a problem with HK, not the guns they make.

That is a funny post HK Dan. I can see you belong to an elite club of operators who will finish the fight no matter what.

I just got my first, and H&K 45. Ill admit I was first motivated to even try one because of the Book of Eli. And then I shot one at a range next to my Les Baer and could shoot it as good or slightly better. So now I own one.

I had a VP70, weird to say the least. I guess I should have hung onto it as a collector's item. The p7 is the last, and really only HK handgun I've ever liked or wanted. The others have no real appeal for me.

Valorios--a thousand pardons, Sir. The P7 is certainly an adequate defensive pistol, I spoke too soon and too rashly.

BlayGlock--"That is a funny post HK Dan. I can see you belong to an elite club of operators who will finish the fight no matter what." What'd I do to YOU? LOL I really DO own a shinola load of HKs, they're collector's pieces and I buy 'em when I see a deal on one. I shoot them...twice a year? If they're lucky.

Now, GLOCKs--those get some mileage, owing to USPSA and IDPA and the associated practices. No Sir, I don't think I'm an operator, elite or otherwise, I'm just a guy who likes his HKs. Good God, do I need to post a pic? LOL

I hate all the brand name bickering.

Done the HK dance, still have a P7. Their polymer stuff is just overpriced for what you get. Not worth it to me.

I did not mean that in a bad way. Just funnin around.
