Gun control advocates are famously ignorant of anything to actually do with guns, and this is just the latest "shoulder thing that goes up" ignorance.

Of course this is ignorance blended with crass greed and hypocrisy in this case, which only makes it more illustrative of the class of oxygen thieves and Darwinistic non-selects we seem to keep putting in elected offices.

It does not matter if these rifles are modified to fire blanks. The receivers are the only part of any rifle that is registered any way. These are considered firearms regardless. How about the gang bangers holding Glocks side ways and ripping off rounds from a car on public streets.

Pardon me, but weren't movies highly blamed for their part in glorifying violence with "assault weapons"? So, to actually own a gun of sorts is off limits, but to have Rambo types show you how cool it can be to mow down good or bad guys with guns having unlimited magazines is Okee Dokee... as long as there's money in it for the state... You guys have a problem with that? I don't see why.

On a tangent, I want to know where to get some of those magazines.

It is pretty common to use "gas" guns which use propane to work the action and give report.

CG post effects are good enough now that "real" blank firing guns or conversions are less desirable than airsoft.

I have just a few names for what media/entertainment influences can do for some people; Adam Lanza, Dylan Harris, Eric Kliebold and most likley a few others.

Hypocritical is the kindest thing I can say about this "exemption" as this forum is based on civility.
