and they currently have both 125 grain and 158 grain flat points in stock, though not all of their offerings are right now.
It appears that those bullets in the HiTek coated variety are o.o.s. now.
I think orders can only be made on in stock items, no backorders.
I have ordered many times from them, usually get my shipment in 4-5 days.
Great company to do business with, in my opinion...

Good to know. I also placed a Bayou order for 124 gr 9mm and 230 gr 45acp on 11/21/20 and still haven’t heard. I think I’m finishing the 16 week mark this week. That’s over their website’s projected time window, so hopefully it’s soon.
I don’t remember what date it was, and I used my moms card and email because it was a gift for me. Seems like mine was early November and was for 1000 30 carbine hi-tek coated. Mad as a wet hen doesn’t begin to describe her comments at this point.

i am ok for now at this point with my last order placed. i took stock of my 38/357 and could do better as i only have about 1200 or so different bullets and only half can be loaded for magnum loads. My 44 mag sized .432 is still probably 800 and i don't think you can special order a size with MBC at this time. they even cut down their product line which is the smart thing to do.

I honestly think to myself "Am I bothering these guys by placing an order?"

In a way maybe SNS approach puts less stress on them assuming you truly can't back order. produce at the same rate and put what you have on sale and watch the market gobble it up as soon as it's available but without wringing your hands over how far behind orders you are.

Like WestKentucky's mom I don't like having my card charged and waiting for the product months later. Since my order with MBC comes through and they really are a standup company I mind that less with them. they even shipped 1500 rounds one week before the rest arrived.

Ordered 9mm and .45acp from Acme Bullets a couple of weeks ago. Order arrived in 4 days. They don't back order, so you have to watch the web site for stock availability.

Order places with Bayou in November. Still nothing.

Same here. Ordered Nov 13th and nothing yet. Entering the 17th week of the 12-14 week estimated window. I ordered from them back in July and it took ~7 weeks for delivery.

Stuff is coming back folks... February gun sales, down 30% of January. My locals gun shelves are looking good!

Just be patient

Finally... Bayou sent an email. Order placed Nov 6 and we have tracking info just now. Sadly it’s March and that was a birthday/Christmas present that was listed as in stock in November shortly before they put up their billboards about being decades behind on shipment. 125 days from order to shipment. Ridiculous but oh well, it’s happening. It only took 18 weeks...:fire:

If you're looking to get something soon:

38/357, 44, 45, 9mm, 380 coated lead bullets in stock:

https://kcbulletcompany.com/calibers/

Good experience with their 158 grain in 357 Magnum.

Website inventory is real time. Ordered twice recently & had items in about a week.

Not affiliated in any way.

Thanks for that update. I ordered a couple weeks after you, so hopefully I’m only a couple weeks away.

Right now I think who you choose for delivery can make a major impact. I traded molds with a fellow member and we both paid for 2 day delivery. It took a month for mine to arrive. Usps is failing and UPS or FedEx would be first choice if there available options. Shipping delays would be on top of stock or production problems.

I just received a RMR order that sat in USPS shipping for three weeks. I don’t think that was even the longest delay I’ve experience, but it certainly was lately

Just wanted to update for those waiting on orders from Bayou Bullets. I got an update today that my order placed Nov 13th 2021 is being shipped.
So it looks like they're a little over 18 weeks out from order date currently.

Blue Bullets sent a bulk order of about 9k 147 and 3.3K 124 in about 3 weeks. Placed 1/26/21, received 2/20/21. Smaller order of 250 special profiles took about 8 weeks.
I’m extremely satisfied with them since I could place bulk orders, and eventually receive them. This allows me to plan ahead, and know I can get in line and eventually receive my goods. If only I could do that with other components. Good luck.

I just started my twelfth week for an RMR 124 FMJ order placed on 12/31 before the price increase. It would be nice to receive an email with tracking like the old days but I guess the little things can slip through the cracks

My bullet order from Brunos shipped in 3 or 4 days, arrived a couple day after that, so a little slow, but not bad, and they wan you up front.

I ordered 1000 38/357 125 grain Xtreme from Cabelas after reading here on THT they were available. Ordered on March 13th, shipped from Utah (Fedex)delivered March 18th to my home in Connecticut. Free shipping saved me $20-25 vs buying directly from Xtreme.
