How do you carry extra mags for cCW?

I carry a spare 1911 mag in a Blade-Tech mag pouch carried horizontally with Tek-Lok attachment. The Tek-Lok allows the pouch to be carried vertically or horizontally. Some say you don't need a spare mag, but when you do, you REALLY do.
