How do you measure your ammunition supply?

Actual round count. Even though I reload, cartridges don't get counted until they are fully assembled. I literally count every single round. I also have all ammo boxes labeled and a small post-it on the inside with the current round count. All ammo is separated by caliber and each caliber gets it's own box/boxes. All boxes have rubber seals and silicon desiccant pouches. My reloaded ammo is same as above except bullet weight, powder charge weight and primer type used are all written on each box inside of the storage box. All ammo is situated in a line and stacked outward from smallest/weakest to the largest/most powerful caliber. Yes, I have OCD.

#1 is a constant #2 is a variable both are controllable to some extent as long as the ammo supply chain is in tact if not adjustment needs to be made to #2

Mine is measured by my pocket book. If I find a sale or a really good deal on ammo that I like to shoot, I buy it. Ask anybody on here, its not a perishable good. I am still shooting ammo I bought back in college. I would love to find some Federal Match .22lr not at scalper price.
