How many guns do you actually NEED? Not want but need. Please give an overall number and an actual list including the intended purpose of the weapon. Go ahead and include your list of guns you want as well.
I need 5 guns
1. S&W model 60- deep carry, pocket or ankle CCW as a backup gun
2. S&W model 65 4"- daily CCW, inside the waistband or outside. Big enough to shoot well, small enough to coneal with little effort
3. Remington 870 Police- 0-100 yards self defense
4. Reminton 700 Police- extends my "sphere of influence" way out past shotgun range. Useful for hunting as well
5. Ruger 77/22- bolt action .22 for quiet hunting, target practice
What I'd prefer to have
1. S&W model 642- pocket/ankle CCW
2. S&W model 60- practice, backup to 642
3. S&W model 65 4"- daily CCW
4. S&W model 66 4"- practice, backup to 65
5. Remington 870 Police- 0-100yard self defense
6. Reminton 870 Wingmaster- hunting, backup to 870
7. AR-15 16"- 0-200 yard self defense
8. AR-15 16"- practice, backup to other AR
9. Reminton 700 Police- sniper rifle
10. Remington 700- hunting
11. Ruger 77/22- cheap quiet target practice, hunting
12. Ruger 10/22- backup to 77/22 (can't shoot CB ammo though)
I like to have 2 of everything, in case something happens to one of my guns. Anyone else think this way?
