Like each time you visit the range. 300 rounds?

If your gun is DA and around 6.5lbs and you use the pad of your finger to shoot, does your finger get sore after a few hundred rounds?

I usually shoot about 700 rds through my USP45. (all in one session, no cleaning or lubing in betwen, not one single jam I tell you!) Now ammo cost went up, I shoot about 100 :p

Brick

Usually only one 50rd brick. Sometimes, I go through hundreds in one afternoon.

100-200rds per range visit. The last time out, it was 20 degrees, and all my fingers hurt:D

I'm breaking in two new guns and I'll put 150 rounds through each, then run a couple of mags through the Kimber so it doesn't get cranky. My new CZ has a .22 conversion , so that might just keep me there until my finger can't take it any more. Cost is a factor more than it used to be, I sure wish I could find someone who reloads locally. Mike Z

usually 200rds in my pistols, and 100rds through aprifle, ak, ar etc. that's per week end but since the pcs i haven't been able to shoot at all. when home on leave between me and my dad we shoot well over 1000rds in various calibers, through various weapons, in an afternoon, and we will do that multiple times while i am home.

I might just shoot 25, (quick load check) I might shoot 252, (all my ammo is loose in Bagmaster ammo bags, no real count) sometimes I shoot more. All depends. I might bring 1 gun (rarely), I might bring two, I might bring 4. Some times more. Sometimes I go every weekend for a month, Sometimes I go twice a weekend, Sometimes I go a month without shooting.:)

No real pattern I guess.

Normally only about 50-100. Less, if I'm with a crowd of people.

Two or three times, when i had the funds I would go solo with about 200rnds of WinchesterWhiteBox.

As for fatigue.
Never had a sore finger. But at times my wrist felt funny and my hand wouldn't want to close all the way for a minute or two after a long session.

a normal range trip will take me through 200-300 .40 (beretta 96), 200-300 through the 9mm (s&w 659), 500-1000 through the .22 rifle (remington 597) and pistol (browning buckmark) combined. Also about 100-150 .38spl (s&w 642). The only thing that bothers my hand is the 642 past the 100 round mark...especially if it's very cold outside. My auto's really don't bother my hand, fingers, or wrist at all. Quite mild.

200 to 250 total.

50 in 9 mm
200 in a .22 pistol.

I have my fix by then and my eyes and shoulders are tired.

Another question is, how long does it take to shoot the rounds?????????

I spend about 2 hours total. Not much BSing and coffee drinking, mostly all slow fire.

I've got backyard ranges.
I usually don't shoot a lot of rounds at one time.
Mostly I'll just grab a gun and pocket full of shells and shoot a few targets.
I may shoot two or three times a day and two or three guns.
I try to get laser practice in one or two times a week.

When shooting friends visit we'll go through a few hundred rounds.

Typically 500 rounds .45acp a session, but I'd be the first to tell you that quantity does not equal quality of practice.

Handguns: 50-100 rounds. As an ex-Bullseye target shooter, ACCURACY is my goal. Since practice serves only to reinforce the actions used in firing those rounds, I stop firing before my shooting technique starts getting sloppy. Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect. At 68, my strength and concentration is not what it was 30-40 years ago. Then I could shoot all afternoon or so I thought.

Good shooting and be safe.

I aim for 50 per gun, unless it's something more expensive (.44 Special, .45 Colt) that normally comes in 20-packs, with .22 mixed in here and there when switching between calibers. Generally 150 total plus .22.

More than that and I generally think I'm not helping myself with the practice, falling into bad habits.

150-200 centerfire, and 100 rimfire

If I'm shooting rifle then it seems like 40 rounds is a pretty good session unless I'm just "blasting" with the AR . .then I shoot 100-150

200 - 250 rounds 45 acp in my USP 45, then I'll play around with a few other guns, but I dont really keep track of the rounds.
