How Often Do You Go Out Without A Gun?
Just curious -- there was an OP in another forum who kept the Glock on the vanity while he showered, wanted to know if it was OK to take it IN the shower.
Despite CCW in two states, I rarely carry. I end up in state parks and on military reservations daily. It's just a function of living in a recreation area and being a retired/disabled veteran. A gun unloaded and locked in a trunk is legal in the state parks, not at all legal on a military reservation and on a military base you and your vehicle can be searched without cause.
Not a high crime area -- I walk the dog on the beach, unarmed, and don't think twice about it. I don't there's ever been a mugging or assault on the beaches.
Permits in two states, carry guns out the whazoo . . . I don't carry much.
