Hypothetically what would be your choice: Uzi in 9mm w/ 16 Mags or Winchester Lever Action in 45/70 w/ 100 rounds of ammo?

That is the choice I'm looking at right now. I only have funds for one or I'd buy them both. Uzi is more expensive but comes with a ton of mags. On the other side a 45/70 lever gun has been on my want list for some time now. Uzi or Winchester, Winchester or Uzi. Might have to flip a coin on this one. Both completely different and in all honesty, not very practical. But when has practical been a parameter when wanting a new gun?

Which would you choose and why or which would you not choose and why?

Thanks
I have no idea why your looking at 2 VERY different firearms as to uses.

Are you hunting or just for S/D ?.

Having owned both [ past tense ] I see little reason to buy the Uzi.

Unless its your sole S/D firearm

The 45-70 is a very decent short range gun for most any thing you will encounter on this continent.

Uzi does nothing for me. They’re heavy, clunky, and I’ve never thought of them as “cool,” must not have watched the right movies as a kid, so to me that’s a great way to throw away $1500 or thereabouts. I’d rather have a semi-auto Thompson and I don’t love those either.

45-70 lever gun is undoubtedly the superior choice -if you are into that sort of thing. I could be persuaded to be, for sure!

Theres so many better choices I won't Hypo" whatever thinking about it. And if someone stuck themselves with just those two they didn't do much homework. Maybe I'd get a .22 semi auto with a case(5000) rounds of ammo. I'd be a unstoppable army in the eyes of many and the media.;)
