Necro ... I know. But wanted to relate that the most recent M&P I fingered at the GS, an M&P 9C, and not an M&P Pro, had a pretty awesome pull. I asked the guy twice to make sure they were new and unmodified, and he said brand new, from the distributor. The trigger pull and break was simply excellent. Two or three centimeters to the break with no stacking or sponginess, then a very very clean and smooth break, with little over travel. Compared to the M&Ps I tried when they first came out it was like a different weapon. The reset still blew chunks to next week and back. But the trigger pull and break was awesome for a stock pistol. I was impressed. So be aware the newest model M&Ps are much improved (except the horrid reset).
