I have to deliberately shoot a bit off target center for all shots after the first one. Otherwise, I can't be sure how many I fired. (If you believe that B.S. I have more.) Ha ha!
Nice score still haven't seen any sixarc here!View attachment 987362 Today was a good day!!!!!
My targets consist mostly of 2" squares with fine lines crossing the center. I also set up most of my rifles to shoot an inch high at 100 yards. If I'm shooting for group I put 8 or so clicks of elevation in the scope so that I'm not destroying my aiming point.
It's not usually a good idea to leave ammo on the dash, where sun can overheat it and cause it to shoot high, or if left there in the sun for a while, can cause it to deteriorate and become inaccurate, or create high pressures if shot when hot.View attachment 987362 Today was a good day!!!!!
At this point in time I'd be more concerned with someone breaking in and stealing it!It's not usually a good idea to leave ammo on the dash, where sun can overheat it and cause it to shoot high, or if left there in the sun for a while, can cause it to deteriorate and become inaccurate, or create high pressures if shot when hot.

I just had a flashback to a buddy who had a gun closet with a gun-wall with about 15 "pegs" for guns, but he only had about 12 long guns. Every time he bought a new gun, he'd install another peg, so there were always 3 empty gun slots. I don't know if his wife ever caught on.The one thing I have going for me is it’s another Ar-15 according to her they all look the same!
I'm sure you'll like the new build, and I'm jealous that you got some of the 103gr factory ammo. I've made a few range trips with my 21" Odin Works so far after burning a bit of 108gr factory for the brass. I'm settling around 2,940 fps with 85gr Sierra GKs, and 2,670 fps with 105gr Barnes MBs over LVR, I might be able to load the 105's a little warmer though. 108gr ELD factory loads gave me an average of 2,663 fps, and sure slaps steel around better than my .223s, with the gas turned down, recoil is incredibly mild.
Thatz a sexy lookin tube ya got there!View attachment 988467 View attachment 988468 View attachment 988469It’s here and it looks damn nice!
Congratulations!
I have a 26" Shilin arriving today.
Looking forward to the review and some of those targets with the nice groups!
