Should have been 4 or 5 choices at least???
I break it down to what am I aiming at?
Much more than 3 options
Large Game; Small Game; Turkeys, Geese & Ducks; Home Defense; Self Defense
Rifle for Deer/Elk/Bear - Springfield 30-06 bolt action
Rifle also for Small Game - 22LR take your pick, mine is a single shot Marlin bolt action I bought with my own money at 12 years old for $25 at a garage sale. Love that gun Wont ever trade it or sell it.
Turkeys & Ducks - has to be pump action 12 gauge that takes at least 3" shells, seen my Dad's semi-auto jam too much to go that route.
Geese - 10 gauge cause well why not, seen too many get hit, fly completly sideways, and keep on goin
Home Defense - 9mm Semi-Auto with hi cap magazine, don't have one yet
Self Defense CCW - 9mm single stack DA/SA haven't purchased that yet either
But as others have said with just 3 it would have to be rifle, shotgun, pistol, so for me it's deer, turkey and CCW, but I do love shooting rabbits and squirrels
