Savage 10 BAT/S .308WIN: Simple, reliable, easily maintained bolt action in a rugged platform with a common caliber.
Ruger GP100 6" Stainless .357MAG: Simple, reliable, easily maintained wheel gun in a rugged platform with a common caliber.
Remington 870 Marine Magnum 12GA: Simple, reliable, easily maintained pump gun in a rugged platform with a common caliber.

Notice the common denominators? :D

1. S&W 66 4" 357 - best balanced revolver I own.

2. Winchester 94 .30-30 - my SHTF rifle and with Williams sights I'm getting better with it.

3. HK USP 9mm - the most reliable piece of plastic I own.

1. Springfield 1911
2. Marlin 30-30
3. Cmmg AR with chrome lined barrel.

I have to think about the Springfield..If I had to trade out, it would be my SR9C or Glock 19. 9 mil rounds are a plenty and lighter than the 45 to carry.

"Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms...sounds like a good weekend. I will bring the chips"

Sig 229
Ruger 10/22 small game
AR-15 Bushmaster Predator w/ 1.8 twist for crowd control medium game

...and a fishing pole.

~A S&W revolver, probably my 686+ or a Model 29
~A full size service pistol, SIG or Beretta if I had to choose right now (I have a P228 & a PX4 right now).
~Benelli 12ga shotgun

I'd feel pretty well armed with that trio.

here is one of the 3 i would choose. just recently finished it, marlin 336 parkarized then tefloned all the metal. dipped the stock in BONZ camo, topped it off with a 2x7 nikon , other than that i would choose my winchester and my keltec pf9

I'm trying to reduce the guns I own to just that... but I think realistically its going to be 4 guns...

But the 3 I have and will keep are:

1) Browning T-Bolt in 22LR
2) FNX-9
3) Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in .45 colt

4th would probably be a shotgun, although I do miss the centerfire rifles... but technically not much need for one with a scoped handgun, unless you need to shoot it so far away you'll probably miss regardless.

Right now while I am still living at home, my Mother is only letting me own three guns. Right now that is a Savage 111 30-06, a Remington 870 12 Gauge (Sportsman 12), and a Springfield Armory XD40. I'm looking to replace my 870 with a semi automatic shotgun and the XD40 may be traded for another handgun of some sort sometime down the road but I'm happy with it.

1. Glock 19
2. BCM AR with spare .22 upper
3. Mossberg 500 with short and long barrel

If I had to pick 3 of mine to grab and go, these would be the three.

If?

I already have 3 handguns.
My 'Wishlist' is fulfilled.

S&W 642 (.38 Special +P)
Ruger Blackhawk (.44 Mag ..what else?)
Sig P229 (.22 ... 'coz it's a great gun).

And I CAN hit the broadside of a barn with all of them.

Now,
S&W Model 10-5 or 10-7 with a 3" barrel and round grip
Colt Woodsman 1 st series
Custom rifle built on a scaled Winchester 1885 Lowwall in 38 Spec with a tang sight and globe front.

1.Remington 7600 - .30/06
2.Glock 30sf - .45acp
3.Remington 870 Wingmaster - 12ga
An excelent hunting rifle for big critters. A wicked little .45 handgun for bad guys. And a tried and true pump shotgun for small and winged critters. I fill every basic need.
