Assuming you mean the latter, and assuming you're meaning smaller than 20mm, and non-explosive, I'd have to go for a real Ma Duece, of course along with registration papers so I can shoot it.

Honorable mention to many others including an American 180, KAC SR-25, Peter Hofer drilling, and quite a few more.

Surgeon "Laser" in .308 with a true top of the line scope, not real picky as to maker on that part just would want glass befitting the rifle.
 
well thats easy. a cheytac m200 with all the fancy equipment -- ballistics calc, suppressor, night vision, etc.... and a nightforce 8-32x56 illuminated reticle scope, mil dot of course. 100 replacement barrels and about 100k rounds of ammo.

I believe selling would violate the idea here. Kinda like asking for cash on Christmas:)

It was one of two Colt sent to Walker. He was killed just four days after receiving them and 1020 was sent back to Colt as a memento. So that may mean # 2 is still out there?

I'd take the "bastogne garand" that was in one of the more popular firearm magazines not too long ago. I think that thing is one of the most gorgeous rifles I have ever laid eyes on. If not that, I'd take the "malleus" made by GA precision.
 
Ok I'm assuming we have to keep it. I would want the two gold-plated 1911s that Nicolas Cage uses in Face/Off. I know the OP said one gun, but what heartless creature would split them up?

But since I know we're in the rifle section, I would want the Mosin Nagant M91/30 sniper variant that Vassili Zaitsev used on the Eastern Front.

The FN P90 received honorable mention.
 
well, i am pretty close with your initial post. it would definitly be a Holland and Holland double rifle. but i think i would want mine in 375 H&H. i really never plan on hunting africa. so a 375 would kill anything in north america just fine.

yes a .375 is more practical, sure, but a .577 is well....a .577.Cased with accessories,of course.
