if you could snap your fingers and have any gun in the world

I would like to have a PSG-1. I'd shoot it awhile and then sell it to buy two Ruger Number 1 rifles. One in .45-70 and the other in 6.5x55 Swede. Then I'd use the rest of the proceeds to buy ammunition.

Remeber when I said I'd take a Steyr SSG? Look at this!

Documented, Tom Selleck's personal Steyr SSG P1 308Win. I've got letter from him, on his fancy stationary, describing this weapon by serial number & how well it shot. It's a green stock P1, 26" barrel w/ 1" factory rings, 1 5rd mag, butt spacers. It's in about 99% condition. $3,000.00 cash, consider trades.
***Oh, and NO,,, I don't have his Sharps from "Quigley Down Under"..*** I'm in Flagstaff; 928 853-6890

Barrett Light 50. It is a SEMI-AUTO 50 BMG. Unfortunately, it costs $8,500 without the scope! Add a scope, a horde of ammo, and you'll easily top $10,000. I cannot afford this, but if a snap of the finger will land me this rifle, then, snap away!

I'd take a Blaser K95 single shot chambered in 7x57.
Beautiful weapon, superlative classic cartridge.

BTW, I shot the 16"/50 guns on the battleship USS Iowa for 3 years+.
2700 lbs. AP shell, 23 mile range, and the accuracy to place all 9 rounds in each salvo within 100 yrd circle at max range.
What's not to like?
Unless one happens to be in the impact area that is!

Phalanx

The MK 15 Phalanx Close-In Weapons System (CIWS - pronounced "sea-whiz") is a fast-reaction, rapid-fire 20-millimeter gun system that provides US Navy ships with a terminal defense against anti-ship missiles that have penetrated other fleet defenses

If I have to pay for ammo: SEI M1A built on an LRB receiver

If I dont have to pay for ammo: Barrett M82A1

Browning BAR, I have a think for automatic 30-06 mag fed machine guns (class III of course)
