This is a twist on the infamous, "if you could only have X number of guns" threads.

Lets say that for some reason or another you had to part with three guns that you currently own with the prevision that you could never own that make and model gun again, what would they be and why those particular guns?

Mosin M44
Stevens bolt action .22
Norinco SKS (I still get to keep my Yugo, right?)

Ruger 22/45 (shoots well, but I have never loved this one)
Remington 1100 (good shotgun, but there's lots of good shotguns in the world)
Remington 597 (I love this thing, but I could be persuaded to swap it for a Walther G22)

As for my Springfield 1911, K31, MAK-90, and Yugo 59/66, those I keep. :neener:

AMT Backup 380 SA. I only have it because I don't hate anyone enough to sell it to them.

Winchester 67A. How many bolt action 22s do I need anyway?

Uberti 1858 Remington. I love it dearly, but it's real world usefulness is pretty low.

This Is A Tuff Decision~!

So tuff, that I cannot possibly make it~! You see, this is a'bout the third
time I've cleared everything out and started over. But, this time is also
different as I have only bought weapons that me or my family desired
too own~!:scrutiny: :D

Well, after further review here are my three choices:

a) Ruger 10/22 Stainless/Syntheic brand new, NEVER fired
b) Smith & Wesson 2" nickel model 10
c) Springfield Armory 5" stainless WW-II G.I. model .45 ACP

Henry .22LR lever action carbine
Colt Pony .380

Third one's tough. Maybe the Ruger Super Single Six (.22LR) convertible.

Not that I'd really want to sell any of them, mind you, but if I HAD to sell three ... yeah, I think those would be the ones. I might swap a Mosin-Nagant M38 in and keep the Henry.

Two Mosin/Nagant 91/30s and an SKS.
Haven't fired any of them, so parting is a minimal deal.
(Anyone want 'em? One M/N is arsenal refinished, one is POS, Norinco SKS is still smothered in cosmoline.)

Well, let me think back on the three I most recently parted with. Would that count?

T/C Encore Rifle (.243)
T/C Encore Pistol (.243)
S&W 1066 (10mm)

All were great guns, but they weren't getting used and I wanted something else. In this case, easy come, easy go. Wouldn't bother me to never have these back in the collection.

1. CZ 452 American 17 HMR. Won't do anything my 22 lr won't do cheaper, at least in my neck of the woods. Plus the trigger stinks.
2. Pre-64 Winchester 94 30-30. Very pretty, but for some reason I can't hit with it. Besides, I already have a Post 64 that I actually like better and a Marlin 336.
3. This pains me, but I guess I could let my Marlin 1895M .450 go if I had to. It kicks a bit much and it's not really necessary for anything around here.

Such a sweet sorrow

The ones I'd let go:

1. S&W 469 - 9 mm. Very inaccurate.
2. S&W 422 - 1st .22 pistol.
3. Ruger P-85.

- Ruger 10/22. I hate this gun and have long since quit shooting it.
- Mosin Nagant. I ain't that sentimental toward foreign milsurps. It isn't real accurate either.
- Taurus 941 22wmr revolver. It's OK, but I can do without it.

This one is pretty easy:

-Ruger KP345. It has been quite unreliable and I'm very disappointed. I'm looking to replace it anyway (actually, I've already put its replacement, a new S&W 1911SC, on layaway).

-Bersa Thunder .380. It is a good gun, but I don't think I've shot it in 2 years, and I don't really need it (I have a couple guns of similar size in more capable calibers, and I have a smaller .32 now). I'm thinking about selling it anyway.

-18.5" Benelli Nova. It wasn't cheap and I've never really warmed to it, I really wish I saved about 1/3 and bought a Mossberg 500 Persuader instead (to replace the one I sold a few years ago when I really needed the cash).

Taurus 94 5" 22lr
Uberti 1851 Colt Navy Clone
Charles Daly 1911

Easy...:neener:

I would replace them with a Ruger Single Six, a Cimarron 1873 Remington 44-40, and a Springfield GI 1911.

I'd hurry up and buy 3 POS, pot metal, saturday night specials then turn around and part with those so I can keep all the others.

Charter Arms AR-7, my wife thought she was doing me a favor by buying it for christmas several years ago.

Snake Charmer .410, has a story with it but would let it go.

Ruger Mini-14 bc I wouldn't want to give up any of the others but I don't want to give the mini up either.

I like my guns and don't want to give up any but if I had to, it'd be these three first.
