If you had to part with 3 guns...

Winchester tube mag rifle in 22LR. A model 59, I think.
Remington Nylon 77 22LR
Remington Breechloader in 43 Egyptian. A Rem No1 I think.

The 22LRs are not as good or useful or accurate as a 10/22 or Rem 597, and the breechloader was in a near imposible to find caliber.

I wouldn't miss any of 'em.

3 guns? Geez - probably - nope...I'm not playing :neener: I'm finally happy w/ all my guns, I'm not giving up any of them!

FN Hi Power .40S&W - Not 100% reliable although very accurate.
Sig Sauer P226 .357sig - Too big for carry and too long DA trigger.

Only 2.The rest I'm not willing to part with.:neener:

1. Astra 400
2. Stevens Model 35 .22LR single shot target pistol
3. S&W Model 1917

Not only would I sell them, I will sell them if the price is right.

Man, I've been in the poor house for awhile, so I've already been paring down my collection. As it stands now, there are only 2 rifles, 2 shotguns, and 5 handguns in my private collection.

So, I guess it would have to be:
1) Ruger MkII (anyone looking for a MkII with a threaded barrel & no front sight?)
2) Para-Ordnance Colonel (if someone's looking for one, I'd be willing to talk)
3) German Commission Model of 1888 (anyone want an antique in nice condition?)

I have 14 or so... (might be 15 or 16) Remington Nylon rifles... 66's, 77's, 10-C's, 11's, 12's, and even a 76 or 2...

I have 3 Mod 66 Apache Black's and 4 Mohawk Brown's (not including "gallery gun" models)

I'd sell 3 of the duplicates, and be none the poorer, collectionwise for doing it...

(Edited 'cause I can't frikkin' type!)

That's a tough question, but if I had to part with 3, it would be my Winchester 1300, my TC Contender and my Taurus 454. Those are the ones I use the least but still like all of them. Steve 48

Hmm, part with 3 that I couldn't own again lets see. Colt Pony, Pocket nine and SF-VI. Why? None of them are made any more and all were made for a very short period of time, thus parts are or will be hard to find.

Rossi .22 single shot break open w/20 gauge barrel. Decent gun, just have other guns I like better.

Jennings compact .380 - No beavertail and cut by hand. It was reliable though.

Firestorm .380 - Okay gun. Reliable. Accurate enough. Couldn't find spare mags and just flat out didn't need it.

I would list a Bersa Thunder 380 but if I had to keep one .380, I'd keep that one. As you can tell, I had done some experimenting with .380 auto pistols for carry. I gave it up as my Kahr P9 is the same size and more powerful. If anyone wants a .380 or two, I will make you a good deal. :)

H&K p7 (Its a nice gun, but its not as nice as i was led to believe. I'm hanging onto it for investment purposes)
Savage 30-06 (I could just pick one up in .308 or a rem700 in 30-06)
And a Glock. (I could easily just get an XD which is more comfortable, though the 10mm would be an issue. I think EAA would suffice nicely)

Any of several cheap shotguns and a 1959 vintage J.C. Higgens .22 that no one has a clip for...........Essex

Funny Post - thanks for the idea... I 've seen two models on here that are on my must buy list - the H&R 999 and the Taurus 94 .22.

At any rate, and in complete opposition to the spoken motto of my friend's grandmother (Never Sell a Gun!) here's my three.

Remington 870 Wingmaster 16 ga, 28" Modified, plain bbl. - I have 6 or 7 16 ga., (can't remember rightly, offhand) and the chores of a 16 ga pump will be well handled by my Winchester Model 12 16 ga.

Saiga 7.62x39 sporter, with red dot sight. Not a great deer hunting gun, (have 15+others) not a great assault weapon, (my FNFAL) not a great survival tool, (though that's probably it's best application)

Colt 2" Detective Special, .38 Special, shrouded bbl. Not a bad gun but I have a couple carry guns that I like better. (and I can't really shoot it all that well....
there may be some who can shoot this damn thing

None of my present collection would be expendable but my three disposals in the last couple of months have been:

1. Glock 21
2. Glock 23
3. Glock 30 (still on consignment at local gunshop)

As you may gather I'm not a Glock fan. CZ, Witness, Taurus are my main brands of pistols now.

SKS. I've been trying to sell it anyway! :)
Ruger 10/22. It's a great rifle, but if I can never own another one, this one is easy to functionally replace with another great, inexpensive .22, like a Marlin.
makarov 9mm. It's mostly my wife's anyway, I'll sell it to her, and then I can shoot it whenever I decide to. Really, I could do without it for myself. If we had to sell it, we could find her a different pistol to replace it with.
