Field Artillery, The King of Battle!

I spent a year at Fort Sill going to Officer Basic Course and a couple of follow on specialty courses. My first child we born there (Ft. Sill Army Medical Center). I had preconceived ideas of what Sill would be like, and they weren't positive. You'll be glad to know that I was wrong. Lots of hills and lots of lakes. Once you get out of basic you'll actually get to enjoy them!

Thanks for your service.

I can't really add much more to what the others have said. But I will ask Murphy to keep his nose out of your business and out of your Gun Tube.

This is why THR is so great. It'll be like having two families. I thank everyone that has replied so far with positive words. Most people that gave me a negative response are the people that sit at home and listen to the biased media and would NOT step up for their country, whatsoever. I am, however, proud to stand up through all the BS and serve. I am proud to do what I am going to do and only remind those negative people that when they are alone in bed at night, all alone, and all they have is the law, to thank me for making it possible.

Politics are politics. Countrymen are Countrymen.

Love your country, not the politics.

US SFC REt- Artillery is the King of Battle not the Queen. Infantry is the Queen. Think of it as a chess board and it will make a lot more sense.

God Bless you for your service.
You will never forget your time in the service.
Make it count. Take all the classes you can if possible.
Protect your hearing!
