import firearms made in China?

Is it legal to import firearms made in China?

I've heard from several sources that Norinco firearms (actually all firearms made in China) are illegal to import, but I'm still seeing some new ones popping up at local gun shows. Can these still be imported, or am I just seeing NOS (new, old stock)?

Norinco shotguns are currently being imported.

Sporting shotguns may be imported. By executive order, due to retaliate against unlawful PLA attempts to get machineguns into the US on multiple occasions (and to retaliate against the red chinese for other arms traficking to governments hostile to the US) all other Chinese firearms may not be imported.
