Just picked up a new Kel-Tec P3AT a few days ago and finally got her out to the range. Put 100 rounds through her without a bobble. Very nice...... except for one thing that's really bothering me. Is the trigger pull excessively long, or is it just my gun? The trigger doesn't break until it just about hits the frame (about 1/8"). Is this normal for this model? I don't remember the trigger pull on my old P32 being this long. It's driving me crazy! I find myself overly conscious of this while firing, wondering if the trigger will actually break and send a round down range. It appears that the tolerance is a little bit too close for comfort since the pistol is eventually going to be carried as a back up piece.
Any opinions, comments or suggestions?

Many thanks in advance!

Sounds about right. The pull on mine is not too heavy (probably around 5 lbs), surprisingly smooth, but very long.

That sounds like what many people describe shorty before their trigger axis breaks on them! I didn't have any warning before mine broke. You are going to want to put AT LEAST 400-500 rounds through that gun before you decide to trust it with your life.

Kel-Tecs are prone to breakage and FTE jams. If you don't have any problems within 400-500 rounds, I think it may be safe to carry. I wouldn't trust a Kel-Tec ever again after the P-32 that I had turned out to be a total POS.

Good luck and watch that trigger.:)
