Is the Glock 43 Mag Insertion issue self correcting?

I had the problem with my magazines getting hung up when inserting into the Glock 43. However, recently I noticed that the problem is gone. I think the catch or the mags or both may be "wearing" in after many insertions.

Let me calculate: Probably 300 rounds fired so far out of my G43, at 6 rounds per magazine that would equal 50 magazine insertions between two mags. So each mag was inserted about 25 times. Plus some dinking around with the gun before the first range visit. I am not exactly sure at what insertion count the problem cleared up

I tried like heck to get either mag to hang up today and both inserted without hanging up once.

It's a single stack magazine. There is no "arrow" shape to the mag, like all the other Glock double column mags, that will gradually push the mag catch out of the way.

G43 mags obviously are single stack, but they DO have a mild blunt wedge..."arrow" if you wish, shape at the top front...when viewed from the front. This wedge shape WILL "gradually push the mag catch out of the way."...before snapping into lock when the mag is fully inserted.....

I didn't intend to make my original post a question. What I meant to say was:

My mag insertion hang up disappeared somewhere in the first 30 to 40 insertions. I never pounded on the mag to get it in either. I just inserted the mag in a normal way with a bit of positive intentional force. When the resistance was encountered I just relaxed momentarily and then reapplied the same standard amount of force until the mag went in.

I had the same issue through the first dozen or so mags. No issues anymore. I probably have 500 rounds through it now. No other issues at all with the variety of ammo I've used.
