I went to finally sight in a 17 hmr that I won a while back, and it has a (Simmons?) 3-9 power scope on it that I had laying around (it came as a scope package with a Savage 16). I mounted the scope just fine using Weaver quick detachable rings, but when sighting the rifle in I turned the dials of the scope all the way to the right, and the gun is still shooting a few inches to the left. What can I do? Is it an issue with the scope itself?
