It really suits you

I got down to the same set up as ontarget, but I just don't have much faith in 9mms. I like big entry and exit holes. I migrated back to the 45 ACP in a Defender. I feel better.

The Sirens call of the 1911 always draws me back, but I will occasionally forray into the Glock 17 and 26 for carry.

Short of SAA revolvers I don't much stray from 1911s and Glocks

For everyday use and carry, its this .45 Colt Blackhawk from Ruger:

Beautiful, Bob! You never comment when I compliment you though! :)

Anything less than 12 ounces that fits in my pocket and reliably goes bang when i pull the trigger.

Carrying a gun in or on my hip for 30 years with the likelihood of never having to use it just isn't for me. I used to do it but not anymore. If I lived in a rough area or I worked in law enforcement, I would be all about it, but since I don't....... DSC04555.jpg

Nice. Most of the time a 45 or 454 sa is what I carry

My friends knew my choices in long guns more than handguns. I had my CZ PCR, but my rifles and shotguns tended to be old and ugly, but never have a single failure.
One used to say that if the AK makers designed a handgun I could conceal, that would be it.

HK P2000 40cal (SA/DA variant) and P200SK 9mm (DAO). Both are reliable and I have a lot of practice.

There's something about a full size 357mag revolver that seems to "suit" me. I enjoy shooting them at the range, like the way they handle and even cleaning them. They're what I shoot for fun but too big for me to comfortably carry. My Shield 9mm "suits" me for CC but is more of a tool to me. I do enjoy shooting it to hone my skills but I don't find myself pulling it out and wiping it down (even when it doesn't need it) and admiring the look and feel of it.

IMG_2798.JPG I have two snubbie S&Ws, and prefer to carry the .38 Spl, 642 with Pachmayr grips in a pocket holster. It's very light and is practically invisible in most front pants pockets. When walking around the woods or the country road by the house, I slip it into my jeans back pocket and don't mind if the grip shows a bit. It's got a smooth action and fine D/A trigger, letting me squeeze off an accurate shot on a rabbit, if so inclined.

I change off what I carry all the time. I carry a Colt DS, S&W model 66, Glock 26, Kimber Pro Carry II or S&W M&P .40.

I’m a pocket carry guy, and it’s always one of three .380s nestled in my jeans. It’s either a RM380, Smith Bodyguard or Colt Mustang.

I carry either a 3" DA 44 special or a 45 LC 4.625" SA, plus a NAA 22mag Black Widow. All I have are 22 or 44 up. I like big holes.

These are the handguns that suit me. I have now much time shooting each one, and each, while different, fit my hand well and point naturally. They are all a joy to shoot, save for the very stout loads in the Super and .41 Magnum Blackhawks. Then, though, it is still FUN.

The ones that really suit me are either one of my Ruger LCPs or one of my Ruger SP101s. Compact and potent little defensive weapons.

If not one of those it's one of the myriad of 22 LRs I like to play with.

This Beretta 87,
.22LR is the one I often carry when going down the woods road behind the house. It's very light and quite accurate. When I come back home I usually have fewer rounds then when I left. It's a fun gun to shoot, even without hearing protection. IMG_2799.JPG
