I don't think some people realize how evil and manipulative and controling Obama is. He is bad and he is good at being bad and looking good. I don't think he cares that there are restrictions on what he can and can't do. He is going to do what he wants, he doesn't care about laws. 2A is the law and we know he sure doesn't care about that. Its just going to get worse unless a miracle happens.

GO OVER TO LEGAL, THIS THREAD IS ALREADY RUNNING

I have yet to see one source in this entire thread...

You know, its a serious problem when simply the fact that Biden, Feinstein, or Obama merely have to keep repeating themselves enough that some gun owners see action as inevitable.

They don't decide anything. Congress makes new laws, and one side of Congress - the House, has a solid Republican majority.

Will legislation be proposed? Yes. Will it be a close call? Absolutely. Might it even pass? Its a possibility, but not certain. Running around like a chicken with its head cut off screaming that we've already lost is stupid though.

Running around screaming that we can't lose is just as bad.

Our biggest problem isn't Obama or the Democrats. Our biggest problem is the ignorance and hysteria in the gun community. People are talking about Obama signing EOs to do things that he cannot possibly do. People are exhorting others to load their magazines and making threats (this is one infamous operator of a training school in Camden TN). It hardly shows gun owners in any kind of favorable light.

Well sure you have. "Some guy" with a grand total of 15 posts, who might be Sara Brady for all we know, said it was going to happen.

Ah, how the kids will play while the mods are away.

This garbage should have been locked at the OP. UN troops? Really?

Radiotom, how about we agree to meet back in this thread in say 6 months, maybe a year, and we'll see whose predictions were closer to being accurate? Fair enough? If I'm wrong, I won't have any problem admitting as much.

FOX News last night talked about a recent poll that showed overwhelming public support for the requirement of a background check for all gun sales/transfers, including private sales as well as restrictions on the size of magazines. At some point the NRA and GOA are likely to concede some ground to the anti-gunners as a means of avoiding more onerous restrictions, and you can be sure that the House will not fight a law that the NRA says it can live with. What scares me more than the banning of some types of weapons, or the banning of large capacity magazines, or even certain types of ammunition is anything that requires registration for gun owners or tracking of ammunition sales. These may seem initially as nuisance only policies, but could be used later to identify who to focus on when confiscation is proposed in the future. Just imagine what the public will be demanding if, in the very near future, we have another Newtown type incident, again involving little children?

I don't have a source on what will be by executive order and what will follow by legislature.

Well then, we're done here. We've got enough on our plate dealing with the information that is known without having to turn Biden and Obama into boogermen.
