Thank you for your reply; I absolutely agree that Jared's - or anyone else for that matter - has the right to deny anyone access to their premises for whatever reason they see fit to impose.
That being said, it's counter-intuitive that I won't be permitted to shop in any of your stores any longer for the sole reason that I own a specific object, some of the legal requirements for which are that I have a (proven) clean criminal and psychological record. My second wedding anniversary is on the 24th of this month but I'll have to spoil my wife with some sparklies from somewhere else.
I believe that your company is severely misguided by specifically rejecting your (by definition) law-abiding customers, but good luck with your decision.
