Join the NRA! (as little as $10/year)

It gives the liberals the ability to say "see you couldn't even speak for a week because you had no rational defense.... We stumped the NRA" wooo is us.

They should have acknowledged the incident and said they will give the family time to grieve before making a statement instead of laying quiet like they were "formulating a good one"

You people that try and force guilt on non NRA bandwagoneers is pretty un-American!

"if you don't share my opinion than your an idiot" this is why we are still arguing about an agreement on the fiscal cliff. No longer is it what's in the interest of the majority but instead a peeing contest.

I've been a member for a long time. I wish all the cheapskates would join. I used to have friends that just wouldn't spend the money.

If you post a thread on here asking about the NRA you'll draw them with their excuses. But in these times they'll just stay away from the subject.

I've been a member since 1971. And I've bought gift memberships for family & friends throughout the years.

Well, I'm a state's rights guy and a Texan... I love the TSRA.

I'll also note that I've not seen any real threat to my rights on the state level, or seen any indication of support for any new regulation from our governor. (go figure!). Meanwhile, apparently the governor of NY State admitted he is actually open to or in favor of CONFISCATION?!?!

It's another great day to be a Texan.

Having said that, my wife said to me just this morning that SHE thinks we should join the NRA. (WE! should join! My wife rolled her eyes at me just yesterday for buying $60 worth of .22LR, and she wants to give money to the NRA and carry a card!)

Well, I am not a man to pass up an opportunity. For $45, we have a year's membership for both of us (one with the hat and magazine, one without. My wife won't wear a ball cap.)

I just joined a NATIONAL organization concerned with FEDERAL issues. This is a weird step for me, y'all.

Join the nra and take a stand to protect your right to keep and bear arms! They Don't care what your party affiliation is or isn't, we need to stand together and say NO compromises or agreements or any new gun control!

I dont always agree with the nra, but there is no such thing as a perfect organization. I am a member and i do believe that it is our best line of defense as gun owners. speak softly and carry a big stick, might be the best approach for the nra in this very sad and horrible crisis. The "big stick" part is the number of members of the nra. Just my 2 cents.

I absolutely hate that people feel that the NRA is the end all be all for gun owners and rights.

And if you own a gun and don't pay your dues to the NRA your a bad person. And all good gun owners are obligated to be an NRA member and spread the gospel..... Its not a cult!

Membership in the NRA should be an absolute given right now for everyone interesting in maintaining their RKBA who has the means to join.

That's why the $10.00 membership is so important. Maybe some want to primarily support other groups. That's wonderful but they still have a responsibility to support the NRA because like it or not, it's the NRA that does the heavy lifting on our behalf in WDC.

This thread gives me a lot of hope! :)

The NRA is certainly not without its faults but it's our best and most powerful friend in WDC.

Just joined with the wife. I was a member a long time ago and just let it lapse. My fault for never re joining. Now I think even if I don't agree with all their opinions, I agree enough with them on the 2A.
