Hey everybody just a punch PSA regarding the new Sellior&Beniot (sic) S&B 6.5 tactical ammo I bought 2 boxes because it was cheap 15 bucks a box and I thought hey what’s the worst that happens it shoots bad and I have good brass I was shooting my savage Model 10 fcp -sr and it was have having ejection issues IE the bolt was not coming out of the chamber on the 7th round locked it up good and ruined my day of shooting I suspect it is loaded hotter than the stuff made here in the states just a friendly FYI GUYS

PS
I got the brass out of the Gun just fine with a light tap from a rubber mallet

Good to know, thanks!

did it exhibit any other noticeable differences? louder, higher recoil? also can we get some pictures of the brass?
also has the rifle ever exhibited anything like this with any other ammo?

Hey Loon I left the brass at the farm so I don’t have it but it looked normal like any other brass no obvious signs of overpressure and to me it did seem to have more recoil than normal not a lot but enough to say woah ymmv but I’d say 20 percent more it was slightly louder as well to me

Thanks, good work observing the changes!
You may want to contact S&B and relate your experience. I'm sure they will want to know, even if it turns out to be an isolated indecent.

I've seen similar online reports on S&B ammunition on other rifle caliber ammo so I've been a little shy about using them recently. Haven't had a problem using them in .303 British apart from Prvi brass seeming to last longer nor handgun rounds.

I've had remand stuff do that before i started reloading and knew what was going on. Ultramax 223 i think it was.
