First, my home made screw-build amd65, built on an OOW reciever. I bought the like new parts kit for $79 back in the kit glory days. Building it was a blast, first time I attempted such a thing, and learned a lot. Love shooting it, as it has been faultless. I consider this configuration to be an incredible CQB weapon.

Next up is my Yugo M70AB2. I got this Yugo kit kind of by accident...Serb war surplus and bears a couple minor serb crosses carved in the fore-end. Had it built by Ken Kubin on an NDS reciever...There was no refinishing done on this kit...it was assembled to the NDS reciever as both came out of the box...It has also been AK-reliable, and pretty accurate...I took these pics after shooting through heavy rain at 100yds...I was trying out the muzzle device for the first time.

For those of you that have the TAPCO stocks, how do you like them? I've haven't heard good things about tapco so i welcome any feedback?

I have Tapco folding stocks, Tapco forearms, Tapco SAW grips, and Tapco 74 brakes on my pair of 10/63s and it all works perfectly. The folding stocks lock right up and I have no play in them, even if they're not as rigid as a metal framed folder. I've used them for three-gun comps and for hunting (took two deer last year with the scoped one) and have no complaints. You'll always have the guys buying nothing but Krebs or Lancasters or high end Arsenals who bag on Rommys and on Tapco. Buy what you like, run 'em hard, and don't sweat other peoples' opinions of your stuff.

Mshootnit: How's the performance on your Saiga 308 20"? Thinking about having mine cut down; I've heard the 18" are more accurate(?).

Best I have. I am the fat guy in the Photo. Mr. Hackathorn is second from the Left.
All three of us in the photo that were students were running SGL21s. I believe Mr. Hackathorn was running a Krebs but I may be mistaken.

Ah, I finally got a photobucket account to show off my wood skills! lol 101_0515-Copy.jpg 101_0512.jpg 101_0516.jpg 101_0517.jpg 101_0518.jpg 101_0645.jpg 101_0641.jpg So it's not done yet and I have alot more sanding before starting the forend

Nice woodwork!

I continue to move my AK towards a more Galil appearance. Dug up an original Galil forend to replace the tapco. I'm still thinking about going to a gas block front sight and ditching the 74 muzzle brake in favor of a flash hider.
