I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they ever ran into this problem before. I bought a Kimber Pro Raptor 2 month's ago and the gun shot awesome. Dead on the bullseye really smooth just loved it until yesterday. I was doing some double tapping and the pistol turned into a little machine gun. It was shooting three round bursts.
Has anyone had this problem with Kimber before? I have a Kimber Goldmatch and a Warrior that i love. Never had any problems with them at all.
I called my local gun dealer and he's going to send it right out to kimber for me.

You have to keep your thumbs down or that happens evreytime :) Just kidding you need to send it back to Kimber. Good luck

Thanks for the posts guys. It's on it's way back to kimber.

I suspect that the crisp, light trigger pull that's so admired got a bit too light.

People forget that sear springs can take a set, and there is a limit as to how far the hammer hooks can be cut down. These kind of things seem to keep Kimber's service department busy... :uhoh:

Hopefully you got free shipping. I would demand it. A full auto gun is a liability issue for Kimber, so it behooves them to make that gun legal.

That said, I like Kimber's products. I plan on picking one up.
