bc, can you get some closer shots of the end of the Preditor II? I've not seen anything like that before. Also, any info on what it is and what it does would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its supposed to add weight to the end of the barrel to dampen recoil. Its a great shooting 1911.

Ah! Well, I bet it IS a great shooter. I wouldn't be surprised if most of your guns are. . . . . . . . . . .maybe even the Llama [but a part of me things...not quite so much with the Llama, but looks good, none the less].

Well, I've only posted a third of my handguns in this thread...

And I was thinking that I had too many handguns. . . . .

Do you prefer metal frame, hammer type guns? Do you have any polymer frame guns that you like? Any striker fired?

I only have two striker fired guns and am not all that excited about either of them. One is my carry gun, and only because I needed "thin" [XDs 9mm]. The other is an FNH FNS-9 that I'm contemplating selling.

My other two 9mm handguns are the customized SP-01 [Competition hammer and SAO trigger @ ~2.5 lbs, and just picked up target front and rear sights], and a very nice FNH Hi Power.

You seem to strike me as one who either has ONLY that which you have posted so far, or strongly prefer them over polymer pistols.

I probably have 15 to 20 polymer pistols, but I much prefer steel or metal framed guns. As far as strikers are concerned, I have a few Glocks and some others. Some of my steel handguns are strikers are well. I posted quite a fewin this thread already.

Anyone like the Baby Eagle? Its a basically a CZ clone, but has a different appearance.

Here is my vote for one of the best 10mms of all time. Its the S&W 1006.

bc, do you have a Magnum Research Jericho? My brother wants one of those, someday.

I have always liked those baby eagles. Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't those same guns marketed under the Uzi name as well?

sent from my Galaxy Note II.

Baby eagles are great! IMI/IWI in Israel make them from parts sourced from Tanfoglio and call them the Jericho 941. Magnum Research markets them as the baby eagle. UZI USA sells (sold?) them as the Uzi Eagle. Superbly accurate. They can be has with slide or frame mounted sights, but I think the Magnum Research guns are all slide mounted.

I have a hard chromed baby eagle in 9mm, and a S&W 1006. Feeling pretty cool to have a couple of the guns in my collection that that bc1023 has in his ridiculously crazy obscure amazing collection. :)

As mentioned above, yes the pistol was sold under a couple different names.

It's a very solid gun.

Here's one you don't see often.

By the way, in addition to having a nice collection, your photography skills are good as well. I've been signing in every day to see the new goodies...

Thanks for the in-home gun show! :D

Here's a rather rare classic Walther.

Its the PP Super in 9x18 Ultra (not to be confused with the Makarov round)

Very interesting German guns! So, in what way is the 9x18 ultra different than the Makarov?

The 9x18 Ultra was designed to provide the maximum power practical in a blowback action of reasonable size & weight.

The 9x18Makarov has a bullet diameter of 0.363" while the 9x18Ultra has a 0.355" bullet diameter, like the 9mm and the .380ACP/9mmKurz/9x17/9mmBrowning.

Some of my steel handguns are strikers are well.

I really wish there were more steel framed striker-fired guns around. I once had a Kahr K40 that I loved. I sold it because i'm a jerk, and have regretted it ever since. I think Kahr's K series pistols balance, handle, and shoot soooo much better than those small guns ought to! The K9 Elite is, I think, just about the ideal carry gun for me, and I will have one. Mark my words.
I love the triggers on the K series, as well as the workmanship. It's no Korth, but it's a really nice smooth gun for a good carry gun.

Anyone have a CZ99? Its sort of a cross between a Walther P88 and Sig P226.
