Five and I will put in uses also.
1.Colt Stainless Combat commander 45 ACP for concealed carry, home protection and OWB if trecking out in the "wild".
2. Browning High Power because I like them. Also reasons for #1
3. Ruger MK III Govt. .22 Target. Great hunting/target gun.
4. Colt 1991 Compact 45ACP for when a connander won't work as well or back up.
5. Glock 27 Very light weight optional grip extension and mag. Works well for an ugly
duckling.

I always liked the 1911 and it never let me down.
I wish I had my Brrowning back. [Slap me.]
I have had many Ruger .22 autos. Wish I had them all the $125 bucks is long gone.

I also carry a wheel gun a lot more now. I like the 686 3 inch and 640.

Taurus TCP (Pocket carry)
Sig P290 (Pocket/IWB)
Sig P250 (nightstand)
Browing Buckmark (plinking)
Beretta 84 (pretty to look at, fun to shoot)

1. Wilson Combat CQC 1911 45 ACP. (in my Dreams)
2. Glock 19 9mm. with Adv Arms 22. 19/23 22. LR. Slide Kit (SHTF Pistol/ Range Pistol)
3. Glock 32 357 sig. with a Glock 23 Barrel 40. (CCW Winter)
4. Glock 27 with a Glock 33 Barrel 357 sig. (CCW Summer)
5. Glock 21SF 45 ACP. (Home Defense)

1. Night Hawk GRP Recon (winter carry and for woods walks)
2. FN FiveSeven (because a pistol that shoots a rifle round is awesome)
3. Sig P226 Tac Ops (one of if not the best combat pistols made)
4. Glock 19 (because everyone should have one...the closest thing to a do-all 9mm)
5. Beretta 92 Compact Type M (because most people have never seen one, and every now and then you want a nice single stack 9mm)

1) Sig gsr- I have one of the originals ,and it shoots like a custom gun with a really sweet trigger
2) kimber SIS- all stainless backup with no series II safety
3) Sig 229 Equinox 40- carries really well in a crossbreed all day
4) Kimber CDP- for dress occasions
5) Sig 238- everbody needs a pocket gun

5 choices

Out of the guns that I have owned or shot, I would go with:

1. BERETTA 92D BRIGDIER--I carried the 96D Brigadier as a duty gun, but prefer 9m.m. for most of my shooting. This would be my house gun.

2. BERETTA 92D COMPACT--Also in 9m.m. I really like the way the smaller BERETTA handles and the DAO trigger is what I am used to now. It would be my CCW gun.

3. BERETTA Tomcat--It is the perfect pocket gun for me. I like the tip up barrel, the larger than .25ACP grip size, the sights are usable and trigger is decent. I much prefer the .32ACP over the .22lr or .25ACP any day.

4. SIG 232--The aluminum frame, blue gun with night sights is the perfect inbetween gun. In .380ACP, it is a big step up from the Tomcat and still lighter and more compact than the mid-size 9m.m. pistols like the GLOCK 19.

5. COLT WOODSMAN--Just a great .22 lr. Nice to shoot and very well made.

These would give me what I needed and want for the rest of my life.

Sig P238
Springfield EMP 9mm
Hi-Power 9mm
A Wilson 1911, exact specs to be determined when I find out why I only get 5 guns...
Ruger Mark III hunter, .22LR

I'll keep it short & sweet:

-G26 9mm x 2 for CCW
-G17L 9mm x 2 for home defense, target, plinking etc...

Both duplicated as I consider them essential and 2=1.....

-S&W M41 7.5" .22 target, the finest .22 I've ever shot.

9mm Cz 75b (regular or compact)/ hi power/ or beretta 92
.22 Ruger mark iii or 22/45
9mm cz 2075 rami or the like
.45 acp 1911

Ruger MKIII Standard 4.75" Barrel
Ruger KP95
Ruger SR1911
S&W M&P 9fs
EAA Witness P full size

One thing I noticed thus far is that people are choosing better part of their five guns from their favorite brand, which is ok, but if i wanted all or most from the same brand then I would atleast pick them for their special role.

For example if I want to stay with H&K:
H&K Mk 23 equipped for night stand
H&K P30 as 9mm carry
H&K P2000sk as ccw
H&K USP Match as target/competition
H&K USP 45 as 45 carry

Or if i wanted to stay Sig Sauer:
Sig P220 Elite as 45 Carry
Sig P229 Elite as .40 Carry
Sig X6 as target/Competition
Sig P250SC as ccw
Sig P226 Elite TB equipped as Night Stand

Or if I wanted to stay with Glock:
Glock 20 equipped as Night Stand
Glock 17L as target/Competition
Glock 18C as machine pistol
Glock 30 as CCW
Glock 19 as 9mm carry

Or if I wanted to stay with Beretta:
92 FS Combat Combo for target/competition
93R as machine pistol
87 as .22 fun
92 FS inox as carry
Px4 SC as ccw in 40sw

Or if I wante to stay with CZ:
Czechmate as target/competition
CZ rami 40sw as ccw
CZ 97 Engraved as presentation and 45
Cz75 Auto as machine pistol
CZ 75 BD as 9mm carry

And so on. .....

5 auto loaders, ok here we go:

1) full size Kimber 1911
2) S&W M&P .40
3) Glock G19
4) Walther PPKs .380
5) Ruger MK III

That about somes it up

My reality list. Not my dream list.

Wilson Combat 1911
Nighthawk Talon
G23 .40 w/3.5# trigger connector bar
Sig 226R 9mm
S&W MP9c

Note: my Sig 229 .357 w/E2 grips and SRT is actually a favorite as well.

If I'm going hunting and want my old reliable for vehicle security, snakes
or downed hogs it's my Sig 220.
In retrospect, never poopoo the effectiveness of a .45-70 rd or a well placed 12ga. Sabot slug on hog or any other perpetrator.

In no particular order:

High-end 5" lightweight 1911 .45 (Baer, Brown, Nighthawk, etc.)
Taurus 24/7 OSS .45
Ruger MKII or equivalent .22LR
Rohrbaugh R9S 9mm
Taurus 24/7 G2 9mm

1st series Colt Woodsman
1911A1 GI with the following mods larger rear sight and a square front with a gold bead.
Glock 17 cut to accept G19 mags.
S&W M&P 45
Keltec P-11
