A +1 with Johnnny Orygun. I was pretty sure that Oregon law allowed
disabled to hunt from a vehicle on private land. Seems they either
were going to allow another to harvest for a disabled or talking about it.
Also listed as disabled, but been able to proud it out, and walk passed
disabled parking spaces and licenses to hunt and fish are the same as
those without disabilities. Just a few years till 70, the golden years
may be rust. Rapidly going to where active older people go with nothing
seemingly working properly. Be positive cause all those in opposition
may find themselves needing an edge to continue to be in the field and
harvest game. In my area, probably more cars than hunters kill deer
then in any method used.;)

Not to drift the thread too much, but in some Oregon Hunting Units, if you have a disabled hunter permit, you can take either sex animals. So this year my buddies and I went the High Cascade Elk Hunt, since I could take either a bull or a cow. So being a disabled hunter isn't all bad. :D And hunting with a disabled hunter isn't too bad, since there is enough meat on a cow elk to share with two or three friends.

Oohrah, Douglas County is the same... more dead deer along the road then all of the hunters took this season... and some nice bucks too :banghead:

Ok, end of thread drift...

IF your going to use the propane heater, PLEASE leave a couple of the windows unzipped so you can get cross wind, otherwise you might take a very long nap due to carbon monoxide. PLease be carefull when using heaters, they can and will kill you.
