One thing you can be sure of - You WILL NOT hear about the next time this happens.

That the DEA guy walks out of the building and away from this is to be expected. That the agency tried to hush it up with crazy lies is a little stranger, "we didn't know we were being filmed", "he was under cover, showing the vidoe threatens people's lives".

The trend is that next time a cop almost or actually shoots people while acting cool, you won't ever hear about it, all tapes will be confiscated, the room locked down, lol you go talking about what happened and will be charged:)

Out in the real worl ... uh, private sector, people get fired for low sales numbers, or for being late to work too often. This guy discharged a pistol in a classroom full of children. His superiors aren't anouncing that he's been canned; they're announcing their fury that somebody has broadcast what he did.

It won't change until some bosses get fired.

You all heard about 50 cents and T.I. talking about Da Chrome Glock With Da Switch, You see Da switch on the side kids well I'm the only one in this room professional enough that I know of to carry Da Chrome Glock With Da Switch.

Seconds later the Undercover Agent talking to a group of kids with Bright Yellow DEA logo on his jacket shoots himself in the foot with a short burst.

"See how that accident happened, that could happen to you and you could be blown away by Da Chrome Glock With Da Switch," the agent said after the shooting.

Experts in the field said that the undercover agent should never have been videotaped because it could put the agent's life at risk, Local 6 News reported.

:what: Experts huh could it have been the same expert who asked the undercover agent to swing by and make a extra $100 bucks to talk to kids about drugs

The school Admin coulda shoulda woulda

Called a stop to the presentation and called in a hunter safety instructor.
Befor the Fed killed himself with another firearm.

I don't see how this hurts his cover. Based on witnessing his gun handling skills it would never even occur to me that he is a proffessional law enforcement officer. All he has to do is start shooting sideways (and Im not entirely sure that he doesnt already) and the image will be complete.

I am a little confused The DEA agent makes a public presentation, wearing a shirt that reads police, announces that he is a LEO and allows himself to be videtaped ( judging from the angle, stability and the fact that the camera moved asccurately for some of the time ) while wearing said shirt and NOW they worry that his "cover" is blown :cuss: :banghead: :fire:

If drugs make people stupid I wonder what they are on or is it natural talent ?

Nukemjim

The War on Some Drugs needs to be discontinued, the DEA disbanded, and put these chuckleheads to work rounding up and deporting the 20 million illegals in this country.

Has anyone mentioned yet how close this bozo came to shooting himself in the femural artery? He could have easily bled to death if this had happened, so blowing any cover he claimed to have or need should be the last thing on his mind.

When someone acts in an asinine, arrogant, and foolish manner, derision and gales of mocking laughter are in order.

Not if you are police. If you do something dangerous and stupid as police the video can be withheld, because you were suddenly undercover or some other bullshat, and releasing the video would jeopardize you or your family. Duh.

W[hy]TF are we talking like we believe this guy was undercover? This is shiat right out of George Orwell, you see one thing and the government tells you the complete opposite, and we believe it!??!!? HE WAS NOT UNDERCOVER. in my humble opinion.

He was SUPPOSED to be.

You're right. He should have stayed at home in bed, under the covers, while somebody with better training went out to do PSAs.

That video was on Fox (Not Fox News channel, the regular Fox broadcast station) last night in a segment of "A Current Affair"...the re-birthed tabloid show.

Still too funny, though "I am the only one professional enough. . .BANG!"

Must be the DEA equivalent of "Hey, Bubba, hold mah beer & watch this. . . "

Oh gimme a break!
If this tool were to walk past you on the street tomorrow would you really recognize him?

Does anyone really think that this video really compromised his safety?

Looks like he's back on duty...

Henry County teen finds gun in street

By KATHY JEFCOATS

Published on: 04/23/05

A Henry County teenager made an alarming discovery on her way to the bus stop Friday morning.

The girl found a Glock 22 .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun — the kind of firearm often carried by law-enforcement officers — in a leather holster propped against the curb near her home.

The pistol was cocked with a bullet in the chamber.

The serial number had been filed off, leading police to believe the weapon was stolen.

"We don't know where it came from," Henry police Lt. Jason Bolton said. "It is the same type of gun carried by our police and police all over, but you don't have to be in law enforcement to buy one."

Kayla Judson, 13, found the gun and called her father to investigate before she hopped on her school bus.

Dan Judson said the family lives at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Dogwood Trail, a subdivision in northwest Henry County that is filled with children.

"It's pretty until you find a loaded gun along the street," he said. "There are a lot of stupid people out there."

Judson said he knew of no criminal activity in the cul-de-sac but reported seeing a strange car outside his home around midnight Thursday.

The gun will be processed, and attempts will be made to lift fingerprints from it, Bolton said. It will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab to see if it was used in any crimes.

The only thing that bothered me about this video was that he didnt hit a more vital area..... and of course he could have hurt one of the kids....

Quoting his English skills:

"Dis Is A Glock Foddy"

"Ok Im the only one in dis room professinow enuf that I know of dat carrys a glock foddy" "Im the only....... BANG !!!! "

If the DEA is going to have agents be public speakers... at least make sure they have the ability to properly communicate...... And knows how to properly handle a weapon... although he shouldnt have ever even touched his service weapon with a room full of children... he should have had a seperate example with the magazine out and empty on a table seperate with the action open...

the thing that amuses me

on one of the longer videos, he repeatedly has to ask his assistant? to bring out the Big Gun. I didn't catch what kind it is, but its a LOT bigger than the Glock he was holding. Guaranteed to impress the schoolkids, right?

She seems hesitant at first (gee, I wonder why?), then as she picks it up, the kids start to panic. It sounds like a bunch get UP off camera, and he is doing his best to calm them down. One of the kids in the crowd yells out "PUT IT DOWN!". It sounds like others were saying the same thing.

Its pretty sad when the KIDS know more about responsible gun safety than the DEA agent. That is, they know that this guy is IRresponsible and UNsafe.

Yeah, and if you listen close just before the kid yells for him to put it down, you can hear the retard assuring the kids that the weapon is "empty." Like they hadn't heard that already about the Glock.

I can't believe none of the adults in the classroom didn't take immediate action to halt his little show and deal with what just happened. They all just assume that because he's a cop, he knows how to handle what just happened, and he's in control. Obviously he was not in control.

I would have ordered him out of the classroom immediately and called local law enforcement.

I agree with you 100%, but be careful on this, the Affirmative action Nazis will have a field day with comments like this, however true they may be.

This man has no business being in Law Enforcement, none, nada. I am sure diversity and Affirmative Action played HUGE part in his hiring.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again, this guy screwed up in spectacular fashion, and was doubly unfortunate to have it caught on video. When I say he screwed up, I'm talking about the whole thing, not just the ND itself. However, to knock the whole agency, and it's hiring/training practices over that one agent, and one incident is ludicrous.

I suggest to anyone who thinks getting hired by the DEA is simply a matter of answering "yes" to the question, "Can he fog a mirror," apply. You don't have to take the job if you get it, just apply and see how difficult it is. There is exactly the same level of difficulty involved regardless of race.

Now if you really want to see how tough it is, and you are actually lucky enough to get hired then show up to Quantico for the training. DEA loses several more people there, and again, completion of training has the exact same difficulty regardless of race.
