Lee Classic Turret LED lights

Do you have a picture with this mounted on a Lee Turret? Also unless I missed it there is no mention of this having a on and off switch, does it? Some review say that it is not very bright.

This one does.

I am into Lumens so I want this but it is battery powder.

Didn't think it would be such a hit. I guess I can print them since there is a little interest. I have one modification I would like to make first. Just I am a novice at CAD.

These are the lights I used: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSF66JO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02

You can cut the strip every third LED and solder to a little copper pad. You can buy or easily find a used 12VDC wall wart for power. I had one from a router and it connected to the pig tail that was included in the kit. I just unplug the power supply. You can find switches and pigtails on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/AspenTek-Conn..._UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=02QERHXAEPH2D33T6D8D

Yup, Inline Fabrication offers a lot of niche market stuff for the Lee Classic Turret. Besides the complete LED lighting setup (they offer two different sets), the Auto Eject system is awesome (includes places to store your extra shell holders). Their Ergo Handle is a must have to really make the LCT a joy

I really like the way their Ultra Mount raises the press to eye level also

Tell me about the Ergo Handle. Is it really such a great upgrade? It's pricey!

It really is...remember that the listed price includes Priority Shipping

I already had one for my Hornady LNL AP, because there was no question in my mind that it was worth it for a progressive, based on the amount of movement entailed using a progressive...plus I got 3 friends to get one for their LNLs too. I have the short one to go with my Ultramount

I held off for a while on my Lee because it did seem pricey, but I finally broke down and got one...and I regret putting it off so long

What it does is take the strain off your back at the bottom of the stroke (ram up) and makes seating primers more comfortable at the top (ram down). The kink in the handle relieves you of the need to bend down to raise the ram all the way to the die.

The same handle works on the Classic Turret and the Classic Cast single stage. They don't come in two lengths, because you can lengthen or shorten them by how far you insert them through to attachment slider

Here is one I may go see at Home Depot, has anyone tried this. Link

Yes, I have two of them mounted and they're the best lighting solution I've found for my situation. I have my press mounted on a Lee Reloading Stand (tripod) and these lights attach perfectly to it, but I'm sure they would work for most setups where you could use a clamp. The best thing is that the clamps have attached suction cups that hold the light tightly regardless of vibration. I bought mine at Amazon.

AV8TOR It works great and it does have a switch. The magnet is strong too. It doesn't move.

.

I wonder why Lee only makes one for the older turret(and Pro 1000) presses.

Really nice. One subject that always comes up in loading bench discussions is the lighting. The new LED lighting schemes allow us to get really bright quality light where we want it and need it. LED lighting has come a long way and simply works great. Nice job incorporating the LED lighting into a loading press to get light where it is needed.

If anyone has the Inline Fabrication kit installed on a Redding T-7 I'd like to hear your opinions.

Edit--do the LED lights point straight out at a 90 degree angle or do they point downward slightly so that they don't shine in your eyes if your press is mounted at eye level?

I used to have one of the little high intensity halogen lights up close to my Classic Turret, but it was hot.

LED strips can be had from dozens of surplus electronics places. Looks like this one would work well.

I got the wall wart and the connection hardware at the same place for peanuts. A single strip provides enough light for me, but any wall wart should power several of those strips if you want more lights.
It shines good bright light down into the shell so I can see the powder, and it produces no heat.
