Mark_Mark's 3D Printer, for Reloading Stuff, is On the Way

The mac can unzip the files with no problem on a Mac, but you may need to format the usb drive with a FAT file structure before moving the files over. You use the Disk Utility to do this.
I un=zipped the file the GW posted but it's not in G code. it a photo, do you know how to convert it to G code?

Creality sends a slicer with the new printer......You create an .stl file, with cad, then in that slicer, or another you download, you create a G-code file set up for your machine. The problem sending gcodes is that they are specific to your printer.....mine won't work on yours, unless it's the same printer.

Hopefully Creality has set up your slicer already since it came with your machine, but if not has instructions to do so.

If you end up downloading Cura, Prusa, or IdeaMaker, you would then set up a printer file with the parameters for your printer.......not hard, but nevertheless required.

Just got it! printing now.

Anybody want to buy a printer and join me in this journey. I’m a NOOB here, so let do it!

What happened if you run out filliment during printing?
Happened or happens? :)

Printers are different depending on age and features, but I think yours will give you a filament out warning and stop the print and move the print head to a corner and allow you to add another roll......mine then gives me to choices, purge or continue. Purge means it presses filament through the nozzle for a bit....then asks Purge or continue again. Purge again if the filament is not a solid stream, or continue and the print head will return to where it stopped and the print continues.

! 👍

If you happen to be close at hand and watch a roll come to the end, while the tail end comes out of the spool and starts to feed into the filament checker, you might be ablye to hand feed filament into it, pressing against the tail and the sensor may ignor it until it is grabed by the feed wheels....but you got to have the new against the old and hold there until it grabs.

If you miss then it stops and you do the purge continue thing. One guy did that with different colors and the result a red white and blue collator!:)

If you're talking about my parts, I'm to blame.....done on DesignSpark Mechanical. For collator bases, caliber plates, downtubes, Lee App quick change parts and feeder dies, TylerR is the source, here:

https://castboolits.gunloads.com/sh...let-Collator&p=5648128&viewfull=1#post5648128

Any of his posts has "downloads" at the bottom....click that, then click the green, then choose the "Zip File" and once you open what is downloaded, unzip and you'll have all the files in one place on your computer.

With your 220 bed choose a collator and caliber plates that fit.......not 300 and not Mongo....those take a 300mm and 350mm bed respectively.

Also the download includes a manual.....read that....all of it. ;)

LOL!! Thanks but no. I work with computing alll day, every day. This hobby is my escape from the world of technology.

I know, I can’t escape their irony of using a computer to escape computers but, that’s our modern world. :scrutiny:

One piece of advice: RTFM!!!!! Twice!

Remember this picture? It has a 300 on the left...TylerR's basic in the middle...and AmmoMikes little one on the right. But Ammo Mikes files are hard to find nowdays..... With yours you can print the basic size, and/or Ammo Mike's size.
